**Group Violence: 8 Individuals Arrested in Georgia**
In a swift and decisive operation, the Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has apprehended eight individuals suspected of organizing group violence and intentionally inflicting serious bodily harm. The arrests were made in hot pursuit, following an investigation into a violent altercation that took place in Sagarejo Municipality.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the suspects include Sh.M., born in 1983; G.O., born in 1985; Z.Gh., born in 1981; B.T., born in 1997; M.M., born in 1986; R.M., born in 1990; and two previously convicted individuals – V.S., born in 1988, and Sh.Sh., born in 1976. The crimes they are accused of are punishable by up to 9 years of imprisonment.
**A Violent Altercation**
The investigation revealed that the suspects, acting as an organized group and motivated by a desire for revenge, physically assaulted G.G., born in 1970, in Sagarejo Municipality. Tragically, during the same altercation, one of the defendants shot and wounded A.G., born in 1994, using a firearm. The injured man was rushed to the hospital, where he received medical attention.

Thanks to the swift operative-search and investigative measures taken by law enforcement officers, the suspects were apprehended in hot pursuit. The investigation is ongoing under Articles 126¹, 225, and 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
