**Ukraine Makes Big Drones in 2024**
The Ukrainian government made over 30,000 drones that can drop bombs last year. This was announced by the country’s Strategic Industries Minister, Herman Smetanin.
These big drones are special because they can attack at night. The Russian army calls them “Baba Yaga” after a witch from old stories. Ukraine also developed many smaller drones for spying and other tasks.
The Ukrainian government showed some of these drones to President Volodymyr Zelensky and the UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, when he visited Kyiv recently.
**Ukraine Makes Many Drones**
Kyiv made over 200,000 small drones that can be used by soldiers at the front. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. These small drones are useful for spying and other tasks.
The Ukrainian government has been working with the UK to develop new drone technology. They have even created a platform to carry small, first-person-view (FPV) drones.
