France is sharing military intelligence with Ukraine. This was announced by French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu on March 6.
The US had stopped giving Ukraine this information earlier in the day. This makes it harder for Ukraine to attack Russian forces and detect Russian air strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
**US Pressure on Ukraine**
The US is trying to get Ukraine to negotiate with Russia quickly. They have frozen all military aid to Ukraine. Some people think that the US has also told its friends, like the UK, not to give Ukraine intelligence from the US.
French President Emmanuel Macron wants France to give more help to Ukraine. He said that they will speed up deliveries of French aid packages to make up for the US aid that is no longer coming.
**European Countries Step In**
European countries are getting ready to help Ukraine more because there’s uncertainty about how much the US cares about Ukraine and Europe’s safety. They will talk about this at a meeting in Brussels on March 6.
**Ukraine Still Needs Help**
The Ukrainian army has shot down 68 out of 112 Russian drones, including some that could cause damage. They have also shot down two ballistic missiles.
Many people were hurt by the Russian attack. Fourteen of them are in serious condition, according to Governor Serhii Lysak.
