Minibuses will no longer be allowed to transport passengers between cities after 2025

Starting next year, intercity passenger transport will be provided by vehicles of the M3 category (bus).
According to the new regulation that will be in force on June 1, 2020, it is illegal to transport passengers via minibuses from Tbilisi to Kutaisi or Batumi. This means that minibuses will no longer be able to transport passengers in the direction of these cities.
The change will also impact long-distance passenger transport in Georgian settlements that are more 150 km away.
