**Ukraine Strikes Russian Airfield**
On February 6, Ukraine used drones to attack the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. The General Staff reported that a hit was confirmed and explosions were heard at the site.
A fire has broken out at the airfield, which is used as a launch site for Russian Shahed-type drones. These drones have been used to attack Ukraine since last year. The airfield also serves as a storage and maintenance facility for aircraft operating in other parts of Russia-occupied Ukraine.
Russian local Telegram channels reported hearing explosions near the airfield after the strike.
**Ukraine Promises More Strikes**
The General Staff said that strikes on Russian facilities involved in aggression against Ukraine will continue. This comes after thousands of Iranian-designed Shahed drones have been launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk since last year, targeting Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
