**Ukraine Targets Russian Radar Equipment**
On January 17, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that their forces struck radar equipment in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast. The attack occurred on January 16 and targeted the positions of Russia’s anti-aircraft missile division.
The military claimed that a “long-range fire” hit the S-400 air defense system’s 92H6 radar station, which was successfully terminated. This means that the Ukrainian forces were able to destroy the radar equipment, making it difficult for the Russians to track and defend against incoming aircraft.
**Damage Reported**
According to the General Staff, damage was also reported to vehicles and equipment in the area. However, Moscow has not yet commented on these claims.
**Other Attacks Reported**
On the same night as the Belgorod Oblast attack, Ukraine also targeted a Russian oil depot in Voronezh Oblast with drones. Additionally, a drone strike reportedly hit a gunpowder factory in the village of Kuzmino-Gat in Tambov Oblast.
