**Former Georgian President on Trial**
A court in Tbilisi is hearing the final arguments in a criminal case against former President Mikheil Saakashvili and Teimuraz Janashia, the ex-head of the Special State Protection Service.
The two men are accused of stealing 9 million GEL (Georgian Lari) from the government. They will make their last statements to the judge today before he makes a decision.
Saakashvili is attending the trial from a hospital in Georgia, where he has been receiving treatment. The judge says he will take a few days to reach his verdict.
