Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia’s third president, spoke during a remote trial. He said that people often mention the Murusidzes in relation to his time in office.
Saakashvili did not know who the Murusidzes were back then. He claimed that the court was not important at that time. Instead, the country focused on development and the future. Saakashvili also said that politics during his time turned into arrests and beatings.
Saakashvili spoke about Georgia’s relationship with America. He noted that a partnership agreement signed during his presidency has been changed. The agreement is now between Georgia and Armenia. Saakashvili feels like he is living in a bad dream.
