Mikheil Kavelashvili met with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick at a dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump.
As Mikheil Kavelashvili notes, the communication with the Secretary of Commerce was friendly. According to him, he conveyed a message from the Georgian people to Lutnick.
“I met with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick at a dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump. Our communication was friendly. I conveyed to him the message of the Georgian people that the silence of the current administration regarding Georgia raises questions in our society, especially given the fact that our government and Donald Trump’s administration share values on fundamental issues. Howard Lutnick told me that he would definitely share my views with the members of the administration,” Mikheil Kavelashvili writes on his official Facebook page.
