**West Still Trying to Destabilize South Caucasus, Says Russian Diplomat**
The West is still trying to destabilize the South Caucasus region, particularly Georgia. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with a Russian media outlet.
Galuzin said that the US and European Union have taken steps to punish Georgia for its own choices. He claimed that these countries are interfering in Georgia’s internal affairs and trying to overturn the country’s sovereign government.
The diplomat also accused Western powers of pushing Georgia towards conflict by opening a second front against Russia in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Galuzin stated that this would mean Georgian people shedding blood for foreign interests.
Despite these actions, Western countries are hypocritically promoting ideas about peace and stability in the region during international discussions.
