**Media Ombudsman Demands an End to Violence**
The media ombudsman has called on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Special Investigation Service to stop hurting journalists and people attending a rally.
On November 19, special forces blocked journalist Mariam Nikuradze from doing her job. Police also stopped “Netgazeti” correspondent Givi Avaliani from filming. An operator for “Mtavari Arkhi”, Sergi Baramidze, was arrested while working. Journalist Mindia Gabadze was physically attacked by police.
The media ombudsman wants the Ministry of Internal Affairs to stop hurting journalists and protesters. They also want the Special Investigation Service to start an investigation into the crimes committed by government officials.
