Estonia Imposes Entry Ban on 55 Georgian Officials
Yesterday, March 3rd, a new order came into effect. It was signed by Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. The order bans people from entering Estonia.
The list of banned individuals includes:
* Judges
* Prosecutors
* Police officers and commissioners
* Members of parliament
* People who created online platforms
These people are accused of trying to stop protesters, journalists, and opposition leaders. They used violence or threatened to use it.
Estonia is not alone in taking this action. Its neighbors, Latvia and Lithuania, have also imposed entry bans on some Georgian individuals. A total of 83 Georgians are now banned from entering Estonia.
