**Georgia’s Leader Arrests Protesters**
The leader of “Strong Georgia”, Mamuka Khazaradze, is speaking out against the arrest of political opponents. He says this is an attempt by the government to stop a fair protest on the streets.
Khazaradze supports Zurab Japaridze, a leader of the “Akhali” coalition, who was arrested at a rally. Japaridze wrote on social media: “My support to Zurab Japaridze and all the arrested young people fighting for their country’s freedom!”
**Arrests Are Not Scaring Anyone**
Japaridze also said that the government thinks arresting protesters will stop them, but it won’t work. He said: “You can’t scare anyone! Your story is over!”
Zurab Japaridze was arrested on Chavchavadze Avenue this morning while leading a rally. This incident has sparked outrage among supporters of the opposition.
