Freedom Square Party Will Keep Cooperating with Opposition Forces
The leader of the Freedom Square party, Levan Tsutskiridze, said that his party will continue to work with other opposition groups. He made this statement during the founding congress of Freedom Square.
Tsutskiridze emphasized the importance of cooperation between different political forces when a country faces big challenges. “When the country is facing such a great challenge, coordination among political forces is inevitable,” he said. This means that Freedom Square will continue to work with other opposition parties on key issues.
Tsutskiridze also highlighted the need for new social and political movements to work together. He believes that this collaboration is especially important when there are new emerging forces in society. “We all need to unite,” he stated.
Freedom Square was formed during a wave of protests against a law related to Russia. Tsutskiridze said that his party will continue to fight for democracy and human rights.
Regarding local elections, Tsutskiridze said that Freedom Square might not participate if the country does not change significantly. “If nothing changes in the country, there will be no point in going to the elections,” he stated. He believes that important issues such as political prisoners and election interference need to be addressed before considering elections.
