**People Want Real Change, Not Just New Faces**
The Chairman of the “Field of Freedom” party, Levan Tsutskiridze, says that just changing politicians is not enough. He believes that people want a fundamental change in how politics is done in Georgia.
Tsutskiridze was speaking on a TV program and explained why his party wants to be different from other parties in the country. “Field of Freedom” aims to become a leading party and fight for three main things: to take back power from the current government, to make Georgia a real multi-party democracy, and to join the European Union.
Tsutskiridze said that the current government is authoritarian and has never been truly democratic. This makes it hard for opposition parties to develop. He also believes that most parties are led by just one or two people, which is why they are not trusted by society.
**The Ongoing Protest**
Tsutskiridze talked about the ongoing protest on Rustaveli Avenue, saying that it’s at a very important stage. He encouraged protesters to continue showing consistency and solidarity. The protest has been going on for a long time, despite harsh conditions, including physical attacks from the government.
Tsutskiridze called for even more boycotts against the current government and for people to continue fighting for their rights. He believes that as long as the “Georgian Dream” is in power, nothing will be enough or satisfactory.
**Conditions for Participation in Local Elections**
Tsutskiridze said that before participating in local elections, several conditions must be met. These include an end to repressions and the release of those who are unlawfully detained. Normal pre-election conditions should also be created, and the involvement of the SSS and Ministry of Internal Affairs in elections should stop.
He believes that this struggle is not just about politics but about creating conditions for a government chosen by the Georgian people, not by Bidzina Ivanishvili. If they don’t force these steps, the current government will never take them.
**Conclusion**
Tsutskiridze concluded by saying that people are demanding real change and not just new faces. They want politics to be done differently in Georgia. He believes that this is a struggle for everyone, not just politicians, and that it’s about creating conditions for a democratic government chosen by the Georgian voter.
