Georgian MP Reacts to Saakashvili’s Sentencing
Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia’s third president, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for embezzling a large amount of budget funds. Levan Machavariani, an MP from the ruling party Georgian Dream, commented on the verdict.
