Georgian Politician Comments on Russia’s Participation in “3+3 Format”
Levan Machavariani, a member of the Georgian Dream party, has spoken out about Russia’s involvement in the “3+3 format” talks. According to him, Georgia will not participate in these discussions as long as Russia is part of it.
Machavariani stated that since Russia occupies Georgian territories, they should resolve this issue first. He said there have been no discussions regarding participation in the “3+3 format”.
He also commented on remarks made by former US President Donald Trump about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Machavariani agreed with Trump’s claim that Zelensky could have avoided war with Russia.
The Georgian politician did not assess whether Zelensky is a dictator, but expressed support for Trump’s view that Ukraine had the option to prevent conflict. He suggested that Zelensky should have taken this opportunity and avoided the war.
