Georgia’s Politicians and People Need to Work Together
Levan Khabeishvili, a leader of the Unity – National Movement, was asked about the statement made by Salome Zurabishvili, Georgia’s fifth President. He replied that he is not interested in what she has to say.
According to Khabeishvili, the main issue right now is getting politicians and the Georgian people to work together. He believes that this coordination is very important.
Khabeishvili also said that specific people or words are not interesting to him. What matters most is action and results. He stated that he and his party did not demand anything from Salome Zurabishvili when she was President. However, they expected her to keep the country’s president in prison who had been convicted by a Russian agency.
Khabeishvili made it clear that he has no desire to evaluate Salome Zurabishvili or her actions as President. He believes that politicians should focus on working with the Georgian people to fight against the current regime.
In his opinion, coordination between politicians and the people is key to success. He emphasized that this is not about specific individuals, but about making progress together.
