Kosovo Police Shut Down Serbia-Run Center

On Friday morning, the Kosovo police closed down the offices of a social welfare center run by Serbia in four northern Kosovo towns. The police confirmed this to KoSSev.

The operation began around 9 am. In the town of North Mitrovica, police sealed the office and took some people in for questioning as witnesses. EULEX officials were also present at the scene.

Similar actions were taken in three other towns: Zvecan, Leposavic, and Zubin Potok. Staff members left the premises, and the police removed documents and changed the locks.

The case is being investigated as a possible crime of document forgery.
