Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the resolution of European Parliament could be interpreted as a hint Georgia may not receive EU candidate status. He also said that they would wait until the 23-24 June, when the final status of the candidate is decided.
“The resolution of European Parliament could be interpreted as a hint suggesting that Georgia, unlike Ukraine or Moldova, might not be granted EU Candidate status. This would be a totally illogical and unfair decision. Everyone who is interested in peace in Georgia has their own reaction”, said Kobakhidze.
