Khmelnytskyi and four nearby settlements have been completely cut off from power.
Serhiy Tiurin, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration said that the city of Khmelnytskyi experienced a total power blackout as a result of a Russian attack. The power outage affects four settlements in the surrounding area.
Khmelnytskyi hosts one of Ukraine’s four nuclear power stations, a crucial component of the nation’s energy infrastructure. This has become more important after Russian attacks severely damaged Ukraine’s conventional power production capacity.
