**Russia Continues to Target Ukraine with Drones**

Last night, Russia launched a fresh wave of drone attacks on Ukraine, targeting various locations across the country. Although the number of drones has decreased significantly compared to recent days, the attack still caused significant damage and injuries.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 63 drones were launched from different directions, including Russian cities like Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and the Russian-occupied Chauda in Crimea. The report claims that 49 drones were neutralized by Ukraine’s electronic warfare systems, with 28 shot down and 21 suppressed or lost.

Despite these defenses, at least seven locations were hit directly by Russian drones, while debris from other drones fell in four other areas. This suggests that a significant number of drones reached their intended targets, causing damage to civilian infrastructure and injuring civilians.

**Kharkiv City Hit Hard**

The city of Kharkiv was one of the hardest-hit areas, with multiple residential districts targeted by Russian drones. A high-rise building and a nearby fitness club in the Saltiivskyi district were hit, causing significant damage and injuries. Three vehicles caught fire due to debris from the drone crash.

Local resident Volodymyr described the chaos as “the house shook, plaster fell from the ceiling, and my windows and balconies were blown out.” Other areas of Kharkiv city, including Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts, also suffered damage from Russian drones.

**Wider Damage Across Kharkiv Oblast**

According to Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast, 16 people were injured in the region over the past 24 hours, including four children. The types of weapons used included unguided air rockets, guided bombs, and Shahed-type drones.

The ongoing attacks on Ukraine demonstrate Russia’s continued disregard for civilian life and infrastructure. As the conflict continues to escalate, it is essential that the international community remains vigilant and takes concrete actions to support Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.
