**Country Adopts US Law on Foreign Funding**
The capital’s mayor, Kakha Kaladze, has announced that the country will adopt a law similar to one used in the United States. This decision comes after discussions about proposed legislative changes, including ones related to the media.
According to Kaladze, foreign funding was being used to organize coups and support extremist groups. He said that some people did not believe this claim when it was first made, but now it is clear where the money came from.

Kaladze also talked about changes to media standards. The country will now follow British rules for media work. He claimed that no one can say that laws like FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) are bad or go against democracy. Kaladze said that the country will act like developed countries do.
