US Officials Meet Baltic Foreign Ministers
Congressman Joe Wilson, chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, met with foreign ministers from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Wilson discussed how to hold the government of Georgia accountable for its actions.
The meeting took place recently. Wilson said he was grateful to meet with the ministers and discuss ways to address issues in Georgia.
Wilson praised the Baltic states for being a model of freedom and democracy. He also expressed his happiness that they are independent countries.
A tyrannical regime led by Ivanishvili is currently in power in Georgia. The US officials want to find ways to hold them accountable.
