Congressman Joe Wilson Criticizes Ivanishvili Family
US Congressman Joe Wilson has spoken out against the Ivanishvili family. He says they are helping Russia by selling Georgia to its enemies.
Wilson is the chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, a group that monitors human rights in Europe. He made his comments on social media platform X.
According to him, the Ivanishvili family should be punished and not allowed to live in Western countries. Wilson listed several members of the family who he says are involved: Ekaterine Khvedelidze, Uta Ivanishvili, Tsotne Ivanishvili, Bera Ivanishvili, Gvantsa Ivanishvili, Alexander Ivanishvili, and Ucha Mamatsashvili.
Wilson believes that the Ivanishvili family’s actions are a betrayal of Georgia’s friendship with the US. He wants them to be held accountable for their supposed wrongdoing.
