US Helsinki Commission Chief Discusses Georgia with EU Official
The chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, Congressman Joe Wilson, met with a European Union official to talk about several important issues. One of these issues was Georgia.
Wilson said he was happy to meet with MEP Rihards Kols. He expressed his desire to work together to stop what he called “war criminals”, including Russian President Vladimir Putin. The US politician also mentioned the Iranian regime and the Chinese Communist Party as targets for their efforts.
In addition, Wilson discussed helping the people of Georgia have free and fair elections. This is a key concern in many countries around the world.
