US Congressman Joe Wilson spoke out about Georgia’s government. He said they are favoring China over the US.
The government, led by Ivanishvili’s “Georgian Dream”, cancelled bids from American companies. They also sold a very important port to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Wilson thinks this is not good for Georgia. He says Georgians want to do business with America, but their current leaders are giving China too much power. Since 2020, every big infrastructure project in Georgia has involved companies controlled by the CCP.
