**U.S. Vice President JD Vance Criticized by His Own Cousin**
Nate Vance, a cousin of U.S. Vice President JD Vance, is speaking out against his relative’s stance on Ukraine. Nate Vance fought in Ukraine as a volunteer with the Da Vinci Wolves First Motorized Battalion.
“He criticized aid to Ukraine,” Nate Vance said in an interview with Le Figaro. “I thought it was because he needed to appeal to his electorate, that it was part of the political game.”
Nate Vance is disappointed in how JD Vance treated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting at the Oval Office.
“What they did to Zelensky was an ambush of absolute dishonesty,” Nate Vance said. “I thought I was going to choke… His own cousin was on the front lines. I could have told him the truth, without pretense, without personal interest. He never tried to find out more.”
**U.S.-Ukraine Relations at a Low Point**
The relationship between the U.S. and Ukraine is strained, with Washington halting intelligence sharing and military aid to Kyiv. The freeze followed a contentious meeting in the Oval Office.
President Donald Trump said that he thinks Ukraine “may not survive anyway.” When asked if the U.S. would end the suspension of intelligence sharing, Trump replied, “We just about have.”
