**Majority of Georgians Support Ongoing Protests Against Government**

A recent study by the Institute for Social Studies and Analysis (ISSA) has found that a significant majority of Georgia’s population is in favor of continuing protests against the government. The research, which was conducted between May 5 and 20, 2025, revealed that 53% of respondents support the continuation of protests, while one-third (32%) are categorically in favor of this demand.

This means that nearly half of Georgia’s population is backing the ongoing demonstrations, which have been a major point of contention in the country. The study also found that in the regions, where protests have been particularly intense, 46.5% of respondents support the continuation of protests, compared to 36.5% who oppose them.

**Breaking Down the Numbers**

Interestingly, the shares of those who are categorically in favor and those who are categorically opposed to continuing protests are nearly identical at around 32% each. This suggests that while there is a significant majority in support of the ongoing protests, there is also a substantial minority that strongly opposes them.

**Methodology and Limitations**

The ISSA study was based on face-to-face interviews with 2,000 adult respondents across Georgia. The research used a quantitative survey method, which allowed for a margin of error of ±2.2% at a 95% confidence level. The data was weighted to ensure that the sample accurately reflected demographic variables such as gender, age, education level, and region.

**Collaboration with International Organization**

It’s worth noting that the research was conducted in cooperation with Rosner Research LLC, an American organization. This collaboration suggests a commitment to international standards of survey methodology and data analysis.
