There will be no revolution in Georgia! – We’ve gained good experience, we’ve been well-tested, and we’ve withstood all attacks. There isn’t a state that hasn’t fought against us, but we’ve stood firm because we are in the right, stated Irakli Zarkua, a deputy from the “Georgian Dream” party.
As Zarkua noted, “the new season of revolutions begins in September, but anyone who raises a hand against the state will be strictly punished in accordance with the Constitution.”
According to Zarkua, “the country will not be handed over to the stateless.”
“We are already accustomed to the activities of these stateless individuals. They have their patron and conductor. In this case, their conductor is the regional head of IRI. A few days ago, we informed the public that chaos, tension, radicalization, and the use of young people would happen again, starting from September 13.
Yesterday, Elene Khoshtaria, funded by Russia, held a briefing on this topic. Her family is funded by Russia – they shamelessly persist in this matter. They should at least hide and not appear in public. We have a Russian-style opposition, funded by Russia. They’ve announced that, supposedly, starting from September 13, they will set the capital ablaze and organize pickets. This serves one goal: to change the government through violence, install puppets, and then force them to adopt laws and decisions that are not in Georgia’s interests. They will achieve nothing because we clearly understand that Georgia’s task is to maintain peace and prevent the opening of a second front in the country or the neglect of national values.
I appeal to parents: don’t let these stateless individuals exploit you. We are not happy when parents stand outside the courthouse crying. They should have taken care of their children to prevent them from throwing ‘Molotov cocktails’ at police. Before it’s too late, check on your children—there is an attempt by these stateless individuals to use young people for a coup. They are preparing them for violence and to bring down this country. Have pity on your children; it will be too late later.
We are ready to protect the country’s Constitution and the state’s interests,” stated Irakli Zarkua.
Regarding calls to boycott the elections, Zarkua said, “the radicals have two patrons – one backing ‘Lelo’ and Gakharia, and the other backing the radical opposition.”
“This is a direct assault and violence against the state. They will unite after the October elections. Their goal is to plunge the country back into chaos, destroy institutions, and stage a revolution. Anyone who raises a hand against the state will be strictly punished in accordance with the Constitution. We will not hand the country over to the stateless – that is out of the question. Georgia does not need chaos and disorder. We will not let the country descend into chaos; we will stand even more firmly and protect the country,” Zarkua noted.
