Despite the disappointment of October 4, I firmly believe that this struggle, this sacrifice will definitely lead us to victory, – Irakli Nadiradze, a member of the National Movement arrested in connection with the October 4 rally, writes in a letter sent from prison.
Irakli Nadiradze thanks his comrades.
“Yesterday I was placed in Gldani prison, in cell 38 – together with prisoners of conscience – Nikoloz Javakhishvili, Rezo Kiknadze and Mindia Shervashidze. They accepted me with true brotherly love – as their brother, all this means a lot to me. Once again, I would like to thank these boys for their dedication and their parents for raising such children. I would also like to address all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience. Despite the disappointment of October 4, I firmly believe that this struggle, this sacrifice, this burning spark will definitely lead us to victory!
Here I would like to thank all my comrades who fought and are fighting for the European future of our country. Levan Sanikidze, Irakli Pavlenishvili, Lasha Parulava, Vaso Urushadze and everyone, everyone who stood by the free demonstrators, including me, to the end that day. There is a great desire for all of us to focus on ending the Russian oligarchic regime as quickly as possible.
I believe that these guys, my friends, along with many others, will be in the vanguard of this fight. I would also like to express my special gratitude to the hundreds of thousands of passionate, patriotic people who do not give up and are fighting to the end. Their fight is significantly strengthened by those journalists and media outlets who, at the risk of their own health and lives, are covering the protests and exposing the criminal nature of the regime.
Strength is in unity! Everything will be fine! Fire to the oligarchy! I will be in this fight until the end – in prison and in freedom,” Nadiradze wrote.
