**Opposition Leader Speaks Out Against Detentions in Batumi**
In a briefing in Batumi, Irakli Kupradze, leader of the coalition Strong Georgia, spoke out against the detentions of several citizens. He accused Tornike Rizhvadze and his allies, Beselia and Dgebuadze, of oppressing citizens in the city.
**Coalition Members Detained**
Kupradze said that members of their coalition, Vazha Darchia and Luka Natsvlishvili, are currently being held in detention. He demanded their immediate release, saying that only new elections could resolve the crisis.
**Russia’s Influence Blamed**
The opposition leader blamed Russia for the current situation, accusing Bidzina Ivanishvili of using his regime to seize power and suppress citizens. He said that many people have been unlawfully detained in Batumi over the past few days.
**Accountability Demanded**
Kupradze demanded accountability from those responsible for the detentions. He said that Tornike Rizhvadze, who had previously remained silent, would now have to take responsibility for his actions. He also accused Beselia and Dgebuadze of terrorizing citizens and law enforcement officers in Batumi.
