**Russian-Style Regime Targets Opposition Activist in Georgia**
The Batumi City Court’s decision to sentence Levan Khorava, a member of the opposition “Lelo” party, to 20 days of administrative detention has sparked outrage among supporters. In a Facebook post, General Secretary Irakli Kupradze condemned the court’s ruling, calling it a “Russian-style regime.”
Khorava was found guilty of an administrative offense and sentenced to prison time for speaking out against the “Georgian Dream” prosecutor, whom he described as serving evil. As a military veteran, Khorava’s rights were further restricted when the judge revoked his right to carry a weapon for three years.
