**Historic Day for Georgian Sports**
The Olympic Peace Flame was lit in Bakuriani. This is a big moment for Georgia and its sports. The Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, spoke about this at the European Winter Youth Olympic Festival.

Georgia has kept its promise. It is now known as a great place to do winter sports. A lot of countries are taking part in the festival. There are over 1,000 athletes and more than 700 officials from 45 different countries.

This festival shows that Georgia is one of the best places to host big sports events. Only seven European countries have hosted both summer and winter Olympics. Georgia is now a part of this group. The Prime Minister said that leaving a good legacy for the country is very important. That’s why the festival is being held in three places: Bakuriani, Batumi, and Tbilisi.

Batumi and Tbilisi are hosting big sports competitions for the first time. This is great news for these cities. They will now be known to people all around the world as great places to do winter sports.
