Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze wants the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate not only the 2024 but also the 2020 election results.
Kobakhidze believes that the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) is a group that works against Georgia’s interests. He thinks they tried to question the parliamentary election results in both 2020 and 2024 without good reason.
The Prime Minister says ISFED falsified the parallel vote tabulation (PVT) results in 2020. They didn’t publish the true results. Kobakhidze claims this happened again in 2024, but with no point to it.
Kobakhidze thinks the Prosecutor’s Office should look into both election years. He believes there are “interesting details” about a possible crime that can be found in the 2020 PVT results.
