**Background of Tornike Rizhvadze’s Case**
For those unfamiliar with the case, Tornike Rizhvadze was admitted to a hospital in Sagarejo with a gunshot wound to his chest area. The investigation revealed that he had taken a firearm from his friend Alexi Akhvelediani and shot himself while alone at a designated guest bedroom.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia charged Akhvelediani with negligent storage of the firearm, which carries a penalty of up to three years of imprisonment. A bail of 30,000 GEL was imposed on Akhvelediani, who was released from the courtroom.
