**Georgian PM Promises Elections**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, recently spoke to journalists about the country’s election plans. He mentioned that local self-government elections will be held in exactly 5 months.
When asked why his party, Georgian Dream, doesn’t call for re-elections despite being confident in their victory, Kobakhidze replied that it was a “stupid idea” politicians sometimes come up with. He emphasized that democracy allows people to have such ideas, even if they are not practical.
The Prime Minister also used the opportunity to invite anyone who wants to check their ratings to wait 5 months for the local self-government elections. This is when Georgians will get to test the popularity of various politicians and parties in the country’s electoral system.
