**Russian Strikes on Ukraine: Two Killed, Five Injured**
Over the past day, Russian strikes against Ukraine have killed two civilians and injured five. Regional authorities reported this on January 20.
**Widespread Drone Attacks**
Last night, Russian forces launched 141 drones at Ukraine from cities in Russia. These cities included Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primosk-Akhtarsk. Ukraine’s Air Force confirmed the drone attacks.
**Drones Shot Down by Ukraine**
Ukrainian forces shot down 93 of these drones. They were able to do this using anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, mobile firing groups, and aviation. These efforts were successful in several regions, including Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kherson, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Donetsk, and Mykolaiv.
**Electronic Warfare Helps**
Forty-seven drones were lost due to electronic warfare countermeasures. This suggests that Ukraine was able to disrupt Russian communications and navigation systems.
**Specific Attacks**
In Kherson Oblast, Russia targeted 32 settlements over the past day. As a result, one person was killed and two others were injured.
In Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed, and another was injured in the town of Pokrovsk. Additionally, someone was injured in the village of Mykolaivka due to Russian strikes.
In Kharkiv Oblast, a 14-year-old girl was hospitalized after being injured by a glide bomb attack against the village of Zolochiv. Over 20 houses and two cars were damaged as well.
