**Russia Attacks Ukraine, Killing Two Civilians and Injuring 20**
Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least two civilians and injured at least 20 people over the past day. Regional authorities reported on March 2 that many areas were targeted by Russian forces.
**Air Defense Systems in Action**
Ukraine’s air defense systems shot down 63 out of 79 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to the Air Force. The drones were intercepted over several regions, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Kyiv.
**Casualties Reported**
In Donetsk Oblast, two people were killed and seven injured in Russian attacks, said Governor Vadym Filashkin. Ten people, including a child, were also injured in strikes against Kherson Oblast, according to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
**Damage and Destruction**
Multiple settlements in Kharkiv Oblast were targeted not only with drones but also with guided aerial bombs. A 51-year-old man was injured and hospitalized after a drone strike in the village of Petropavlivka. One woman was taken to the hospital after suffering an injury in a drone attack in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
**Russian Forces’ Overnight Strikes**
Overnight, Russian forces carried out over 450 strikes on Ukraine’s partially occupied regions, including not only drone but also artillery strikes. Nineteen Shahed drones were shot down over Sumy Oblast, with no casualties reported.
