Russian Attacks on Ukraine Kill One, Injure 24 Over Past Day
Russian forces launched attacks on multiple Ukrainian regions over the past day. At least one civilian was killed and 24 others were injured.
The Russian Air Force reported that it had launched 77 attack drones overnight. However, Ukrainian air defenses were able to shoot down 56 of these drones across nine regions.
In some areas, Russian strikes caused damage but no casualties. In Kherson Oblast, for example, one person was killed and 18 others were injured.
In other areas, civilians were wounded by Russian attacks. In Donetsk Oblast, four people were hurt – two in the town of Pokrovsk, one in Lyman, and one in Roza.
Two men were also injured in Kharkiv Oblast when Russian forces shelled their area. Luckily, no one was killed in this attack.
Russian strikes also damaged residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. However, there were no reports of civilian casualties.
Ukraine has been facing daily Russian attacks for a long time now. Regional authorities continue to report casualties as Russia intensifies its efforts.
