A devastating 24 hours has passed for Ukraine, with Russian attacks resulting in the loss of six lives and injuring at least 37 others. The past day has seen widespread destruction and chaos across various regions, leaving many innocent people to suffer.
In Kharkiv Oblast, a 75-year-old woman tragically lost her life in a Russian attack on the village of Lisna Stinka. Eleven others, including a young boy just nine years old, were injured in the same region. The Governor of Kharkiv Oblast, Oleh Syniehubov, has condemned these attacks, emphasizing the need for an end to Russia’s aggression.
In other parts of Ukraine, Russian drones have been used to target civilians, causing harm and destruction. A 50-year-old man was injured in Chernihiv Oblast, while a woman born in 1959 suffered injuries in Sumy Oblast after Russian shelling hit the Esman community. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast also witnessed a drone strike near Vasylkiv, which left a 30-year-old person injured.
**Heavy Losses in Donetsk and Kherson Oblasts**
The worst losses were reported in Donetsk and Kherson Oblasts, where two people lost their lives and ten others were injured. Governor Vadym Filashkin from Donetsk Oblast and Oleksandr Prokudin from Kherson Oblast have condemned the attacks and expressed their condolences to the families of the victims.
**Widespread Targeting of Settlements in Kherson Oblast**
In a disturbing display of Russian aggression, 34 settlements in Kherson Oblast were targeted by Russian forces. Three people lost their lives, and eleven others were injured in these attacks. Governor Prokudin has called for an end to the suffering of Ukrainian civilians at the hands of Russia.
