**Ukraine’s First Tech Company Joins Global Entrepreneur Network**
A Ukrainian company has made history by becoming the first from Ukraine to join a global network of entrepreneurs. Headway, an educational technology company, was selected to join Endeavor, a group that helps businesses grow and succeed.
This is a big deal for Ukraine’s tech sector. It comes after Russia invaded Ukraine three years ago and just as Endeavor launched its office in the country last October. By joining Endeavor, Headway will get access to the network of 2,800 entrepreneurs and potential funding from Endeavor Catalyst.
**A Big Win for Ukrainian Startups**
The selection of Headway is a “powerful signal” for Ukrainian startups, said Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. He noted that Endeavor’s network includes well-known companies like Glovo, Amazon, and Netflix.
Headway was founded in 2019 and has already reached over 130 million users worldwide. The company operates in more than 170 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K. Its founder, Anton Pavlovsky, said that being part of Endeavor is a “mark of quality” because it shows that Headway has undergone a rigorous selection process.
**A Chance to Scale Up**
Headway will get access to funding from Endeavor Catalyst, which can invest up to $2 million in member companies. The company’s leaders are eager to scale up their business further.
Vargha Moayed, who helped build UiPath into a $20 billion company, praised Headway for its track record. He noted that the company has bootstrapped its growth and is now ready to take it to the next level.
**Support from European Banks**
The selection of Headway was made possible with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF). These organizations helped launch Endeavor’s office in Ukraine.
