**Hostages for Prisoners**
Hamas has named the three Israeli hostages who will be released on Saturday. They are:
* Alexander Troufanov, a 29-year-old Russian-Israeli
* Yair Y Horn, a 46-year-old Argentine-Israeli
* Sagui Dekel-Chen, a 36-year-old US-Israeli
**Ceasefire in Danger**
Israel has warned that it will resume its bombing campaign if the three hostages are not released on time. This comes after Hamas delayed their release due to alleged Israeli breaches of the ceasefire.
**President Trump’s Warning**
US President Donald Trump said that the ceasefire would be canceled if Hamas failed to release all hostages in Gaza by Saturday midday.
**Hostage Exchange**
Since the ceasefire began on January 19, 16 Israelis and five Thai hostages have been exchanged for 566 Palestinian prisoners. In the next phase of the ceasefire, 33 hostages will be released in exchange for approximately 1,900 Palestinian prisoners held in Israel.
**Conflict History**
The war started with a Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. Gunmen killed around 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 hostages. According to the Gaza health ministry, Israel’s offensive has killed over 48,230 Palestinians since then.
