**Israel and Hamas Agree on Hostage Swap**
Hamas is expected to give Israel the names of four female hostages who will be released this Saturday. This is part of a ceasefire agreement that was reached last week.
**Release in Exchange for Prisoners**
In exchange, 180 Palestinian prisoners held in Israel will be released. These prisoners were convicted of serious crimes, including murder. They are serving sentences over 15 years.
**First Swap Last Sunday**
This is the second hostage swap since the ceasefire was declared last Sunday. In the first swap, three hostages and 90 prisoners were released.
**War Ends**
The war that began when Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7th has ended. Over 1,200 people died, including 251 who were taken captive by Hamas.
**Casualties in Gaza**
Hamas’s health ministry says that over 47,200 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict, with most of them being civilians.
