Judges in Georgia Decisions Target Activists
The Georgian Young Lawyers Association (GYLA) has made a strong statement. They say that judges often make decisions that go against activists. This is not because of different legal views, but because the decisions are directed against the activists themselves.
According to GYLA, this is clear evidence that these cases involve motives of political persecution. In other words, the government or someone in power is trying to punish people for their activism.
