According to a Telegram post by the group on June 1, operatives with Atesh destroyed a relay box on the new Volnovakha-Mariupol railway, disrupting the railway signalling and traffic control system.
This targeted attack is believed to have crippled Russia’s ability to deliver fuel, equipment, and ammunition directly to the frontline. The Volnovakha-Mariupol railway has been used by Russian forces to bypass Crimea and transfer cargo faster and with fewer risks. By damaging this infrastructure, Atesh has effectively disrupted supply lines and increased the vulnerability of occupying Russian forces.

Atesh claims that disrupting infrastructure in this direction is crucial to reducing Russia’s combat effectiveness. “It continues to hit the enemy’s critical points,” Atesh wrote in its Telegram post. “Each hit reduces their combat effectiveness.”
