**US Diplomat Criticizes Kosovo Government**
A US diplomat has said that the government of Kosovo is not trustworthy. Richard Grenell made this statement on Monday.
Grenell said that both Republican and Democratic presidents have criticized Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti. They have been against Kurti’s actions which destabilize the region. Even the European Union (EU) and NATO have also criticized Kurti.
According to Grenell, US companies are expanding in Albania and Serbia but not in Kosovo because of Kurti. This is because Kurti has opposed every idea offered by US presidents for many years. Grenell warned people not to believe Kurti’s claims that he is close to the US and better than previous governments.
Grenell was nominated by former US President Donald Trump to be a special envoy. He said that the US will continue to work towards peace in the Balkans, but needs trustworthy partners.
