**University Applicants Given a Fair Chance**
The Unified National Exams have started in Georgia, giving thousands of young applicants the chance to show off their knowledge. This is a crucial step for those planning to attend university.
According to Education Minister Givi Mikanadze, 24 examination centers have been set up across the country, ensuring that every region has access to these exams. This is great news for students who might have previously faced difficulties in finding an exam center near them.
The number of applicants is also significant, with over 39,000 young people registered to take part in the exams. The Minister wishes each and every one of them success, highlighting that they have been given a full opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.
**Preparations Made for Smooth Exams**
Mikanadze emphasized that extensive preparatory work has been carried out by the Ministry in close cooperation with other agencies. This effort ensures that everything is in place for these exams to be conducted at the highest standard.
The Unified National Exams are a series of tests that will take place over several days, concluding on July 22 with the fine and applied arts exam. The first test is already underway, focusing on Georgian language and literature.
