It is clear to everyone what Ivanishvili’s Dream wants – Ivanishvili’s Dream wants the issue of visa-free travel to be decided soon and the borders to be closed, – Giorgi Mshvenieradze, head of the Guardians of Democracy organization, writes on the social network, responding to the decision to seize the accounts of non-governmental organizations based on the prosecutor’s office’s request.
As Mshvenieradze states, “the Russians will not change anything substantive in the activities of non-governmental organizations with this seizure.” According to him, helping fellow citizens will be more difficult, but they will never stop fighting for ideas and the peacekeeping of their homeland.
“Georgian NGOs serve the Georgian cause, help the Georgian people, and today, like hundreds of thousands of citizens of this country, they are courageously fighting for Georgia’s European future.
Today, the seizure of seven organizations and the threat that a more severe “trial” awaits us is the Russians’ response to our causes, the response to protecting tortured people, to exposing the corruption of Ivanishvili’s officials, and to fighting for Georgia’s European future. At a time when the European Union was supposed to receive an answer from Ivanishvili’s Dream by August 31 for what it did last year and because of which Georgia faces a real threat of suspending visa-free travel, Ivanishvili poured additional fuel on the fire.
I think it is clear to everyone what Ivanishvili’s Dream wants – Georgia to find itself in complete isolation, with closed borders from the civilized world, to remain alone, defenseless with Russia. Ivanishvili’s Dream wants to quickly complete the visa-free travel issue and close the borders. He wants to do this in a way that avoids the anger of the people, he wants to end Georgia’s thinking about the European path and drown the future of the Georgian people in a swamp surrounded by Russian barbed wire, because the Russian swamp is a natural and comfortable place for Ivanishvili”, he said.
