**Parliamentary Investigation Continues: Gia Volski Comments on Gakharia’s Summoning**
The situation in Chorchana has been extremely difficult, and the questions raised against the former leader of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, are legitimate, necessary, and urgent. This is according to Gia Volski, the First Vice-Speaker of Parliament.
Volski made these comments while responding to the issue of Gakharia being summoned to the parliamentary investigation commission once again. The commission is looking into various issues related to Gakharia’s leadership, including the establishment of a checkpoint in Chorchana and the Russian occupation line moving closer.
**Akhalgori Situation Also Raises Concerns**
In addition to the Chorchana issue, Volski also mentioned that there has been another serious result received in the direction of Akhalgori. According to him, if people had any possibility of moving towards Akhalgori, this direction has been completely blocked. This suggests that the situation created at this specific section of occupation is extremely difficult.
**Expectations for Gakharia’s Appearance**
When asked whether he expects Giorgi Gakharia to appear before the temporary parliamentary investigation commission again, Volski noted that he does expect it. According to him, Gakharia wants to remain in the political field and has questions regarding which there is a certain position that he needs to convey to his voters.
Volski believes that Gakharia will try to answer these questions when he appears before the commission. However, he thinks that it will be very difficult for Gakharia to do so successfully, as the results of his actions were heavy and still weigh heavily on the country today.
**No Desire to See Anyone Go to Prison**
When asked by a journalist whether Giorgi Gakharia would go to prison, Gia Volski replied that he wants neither Gakharia to go to prison nor anyone else. However, he also doesn’t want specific people to commit crimes in Georgia without being held accountable for them.
Volski emphasized that he is neither a judge nor a prosecutor and cannot fulfill the function of a court while speaking from the rostrum. He simply wants to see justice served and accountability for those who have committed crimes.
**Second Summoning of Gakharia**
For information, Giorgi Gakharia has been summoned to the temporary investigative commission of parliament for the second time. The commission is looking into various issues related to his leadership, including the Chorchana issue.
